Photovoltaic (PV) Panels
Solar photovoltaic, or PV, converts solar radiation into direct current electricity. PV Solar panels use this technology and are a viable form of energy for businesses and residential households.
PV Panels are usually mounted on the roof and connected to the local electric utility. They supply power directly to the home or business. PV panels also have the capability to send unused power back to the utility for a credit on your monthly electric utility bill.
Depending upon the present incentives, electric utility rate and the type of system we install, the payback period for a solar PV panel system can be less than 7 years. Of course, after the payback period you will generate electricity at no cost for your home or business.
Incentives are available to install renewable energy systems. Click the link on the top right of this page to learn more. As a system owner, you can also enjoy a yearly income by selling Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SREC's). K.C. Larson has partnered with Sol Systems LLC to provide this service.
